The better news is that you’ll be able to hitch on the Sandia Peak Tramway for a scenic sojourn over the Sandia Mountains to reach your destination. If you want to really make the dinner taste good, you can also take a 1.5-mile hike to the restaurant from the Ellis Trailhead.
There, 13,300 feet above sea level awaits Ten 3. Outfitted in tall windows overlooking the mountain tops, crackling fire places, wood accents, and sleek furniture, the restaurant sets the scene for a breathtaking dining experience.
Here, patrons can choose between fine and casual dining. The former is available by reservation between 5 pm and 7 pm Monday, Thursday, Sunday, and until 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. Its menu, curated by Executive Chef J. Martin Torrez, fears shareable, greens, sides, and main courses featuring such options as Filet of Beef, Roasted Lamb Rack, and Grilled Ribeye.
For casual dining, no reservations are needed. Available from 11 am to 8 pm Thursday through Monday, the menu features appetizers, salads, and main courses, which feature dishes that include Brisket Sammie, Street Tacos, American Kobe Meatloaf, and Adult Mac-N-Cheese.
